It is heard that the first look and teaser of the film would be unveiled during Sankranthi festival. Now, this has got many in the filmnagar area to speculate whether it would be clubbed with any of the releases.

The cine folks say "If 'Dammu's teaser can be shown with 'Businessman' it would be a great combo. Of course, there is always the star rivalry and all that but it would be interesting. Previously, something like that was planned for the teaser of 'Businessman' also but for some reason that didn't happen."

For now, it is heard that 'Dammu' will commence a fresh schedule from January 6th and this would take place at the Annapurna Studios. Sources say a song and fight sequence would be canned as part of this. The film is directed by Boyapati Sreenu and produced by Alexander Vallabha.

Mahesh Babu's kissing scene with Kajal

Prince Mahesh Babu is one man who has an enviable list of admirers among ladies. And even heroines do everything possible to bag a chance to pair with him. However, till date Mahesh has never crossed the line and has kept his distance. Even onscreen, his romantic scenes have been very neat.

But now, a strong grapevine is making rounds which suggest that it might change. Reports say that the film 'Businessman' has one scene which would have Mahesh in a steamy liplock with the leading lady Kajal Agarwal. The very thought of prince with the saucy seductress in a situation like that is driving many crazy.

However, there is also another version which goes "All this is baseless gossip. Mahesh will never indulge in any such scenes. Of course, that is the demand of the hour these days and even stars like Allu Arjun or Naga Chaitanya for that matter even Pawan Kalyan have done a scene or two. But Mahesh will never do that." We will know that when 'Businessman' releases on January 11th.

Adhinayakudu real story leaked!

Nandamuri Natasimham Balakrishna who scored a big hit with 'Simha' then returned in a divine avatar for 'Sri Rama Rajyam' and won few critical accolades. Now, he is back to his original ground of mass masala punch entertainers in the form of his new movie 'Adhinayakudu'.

This is due for release in end of January but before that, there is already an inside talk emerging from the camp. Sources say Balayya's film is more of a political satire and it would have few digs at the current ruling party and some promo material for the TDP as well.

While Balayya's triple role would be a highlight, the focus is more on his role as the old man which is slated to have that political overtone. Recently, the logo of the film and its first poster was unveiled by the makers. This is directed by Parachuri Murali and produced by M L Padma Kumar Chowdary. Let us see how this film will score.

Anushka scores a rare zero!

Anushka, who was once the busiest actress in Telugu film industry, is giving more importance to Tamil cinema these days. Anushka is currently starring Nagarjuna's Dhamarukam and Prabhas's Varadhi movies. She was last seen in Ragada, which was released in December 2010.

Anushka didn't feature in single straight Telugu film in 2011. Except for Tamil dubbed film Nanna, her Telugu fans didn't get a chance to see her on silver screen. On the other hand she is happily signing up many Tamil films. She has more than half a dozen Tamil films on her hands at the moment.

According to an online survey in Tamilnadu, Anushka is the top heroine in Kollywood now. After Tamanna's exit from Tamil cinema, Anushka proved to be the clear winner over other hot heroines in Tamil film industry.

'Ye Maya Chesave' Aunty ready again!!!

Well, the hot girl from 'Ye Maya Chesave' is none other than Samantha and she is not aunty. We are talking about the aunty-turned-hot heroine who sang that song initially.

Provided with the reputation Bharat Thakur had, they might have stuffed their bags with huge collections to test their fate in this luck-based-game once again, is the talk. Let us see what Bhumika will do again to mesmerize Telugu audiences.

So, sometime back announcements were made in a big way about the releases.

At one point, it looked like there would be nearly six releases of big hero films during the two to three days of the festival. However, the expected postponements and the delays have happened so the final update is that only three films are in contention for the Sankranthi honours.

First in the list is Mahesh Babu's 'Businessman' arriving on January 11th. This would be followed by victory Venkatesh and his 'Bodyguard' on January 12th. And last but not the least, there would be Sunil with his 'Poolarangadu' on January 14th . The expectations are high on each project but focus is more on 'Businessman' due to the hype.
