Last month of 2011 gave killer blows to already limping Tollywood market with almost all the films that released in this month ending up as disasters. Three of those releases were huge disasters leaving producers and buyers in heavy losses.
It all started with Bejawada that was released on December 1 and ended with Veedinthe which was out on Dec 30. In between there was Panjaa and Rajanna which rode on high expectations and tanked at the box office without a trace.
Panjaa was declared as one of the biggest disasters ever in Pawan Kalyan's career. Despite being lauded by critics, Nagarjuna's Rajanna was a dud commercially. Kshetram is another idiotic film that is currently torturing audience. Except for dubbed flick Journey, December has been an absolute wash out for Tollywood. Hope 2012 starts with a bang with Pongal releases.
