One of Mani Ratnam's classic creations is 'Gharshana' which hit the screens in the late eighties and created a sensation. This had the duo of Karthik and Prabhu in the lead. Now the time has come for the remake.
Reports from Chennai reveal that Karthik is planning for a remake and this would have his son Gautam with Prabhu's son Vikram in the lead. It is heard that Karthik is in talks with Mani Ratnam again to direct the film.
Those who heard this say "Thank God it is not Mani Ratnam's son who will be directing. Obviously bodies can be same but not the brain." Let us wait for the official confirmation on this folks.
